Berlin needs its own Top 10 list, this city has got it going on.
- Go and see the East Side gallery, some of the last remaining intact parts of the wall covered in graffiti; near the Warschauer U-Bahn stop

East Side Gallery
- Drink a beer at a Biergarten. With communal tables set up you are sure to meet some new friends.
- See the zoo, located in the heart of center city. The monkey cages are awesome.
- Experience Museum Island- just like it sounds, an island chalk full of museums (best one is DDR Museum, showing daily life in East Berlin)
- Eat a donner kebab. Berlin is full of relocated Middle Easterners and the food is to die for.
- Go to the Check Point Charlie Museum. See how East Berliners tried to escape during the Wall years. My favorite is the shopping bag.

Checkpoint Charlie
- Trace the original pathway of the wall. Small bricks have been painstakingly placed into the asphalt to trace the original wall dividing the 2 Berlins.
- Take the S-Bahn and U-Bahn everywhere you go. An amazing feat of Germaness and one of the best transit systems I have ever used.

Berlin Ostbanhoff
- Make a hotel reservation in the East Berlin, some areas are still eerily reminiscent of DDR times and the lack of western influence is apparent
- Hit a music/club/art venue. Berliners are some of the coolest folk in the world and know how to have a good time.
- Visit any of the flea markets around the city, there are plenty of old beautiful things to find. (submitted by Hotels Barcelona)

I would say there’s a number 11 thing to do in Berlin: visit any of the fleemarkets around the city, there are plenty of old beautiful things to find.
Anyway, I agree with almost every other 10 points.
Good post.
