OMG, it’s a Wiener Dog in…Poland

In my 2nd installment of OMG, it’s a Wiener Dog in…., I want to feature my favorite long dogs in my favorite country, Poland. In Poland the dachshund is so revered, they hold a doxie parade in Krakow (link is Polish but the photos aren’t) every Aug/Sept. Poland’s jamnik (dachshund) (yom-nik) is all around as is apparent with these photos.

Spied in Warsaw once Fall morning, notice his comfty bed perched on the chair?

Seems you can’t walk anywhere in Poland without tripping over these guys. We were sitting down to brunch when a couple appeared with him, called Vip. Very docile and regale as he sits on his throne.

Is this truck seriously telling the world how long it is via the scientific dachshund scale?

On the drive from Poznan to Warsaw, I made my co-pilot slow down and backtrack so I could capture this too good to be true dachshund shot. Wow, that is some long vehicle!

Damn, cool website. I actually came across this on Bing, and I am happy I did. I will definately be returning here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment.

    Thank You
