Top 10 Things to Do in Vietnam

Vietnam has a special place in my heart. I could probably created a top 100 list and spend 4 months here. The food was some of the best I have eaten, the people some of the warmest, and the natural scenery some of the most amazing. But as this is called a top 10 list not top 100, here is my widdled down top 10 things to do in Vietnam.
Essence of Vietnam in a picture
- See a musical, opera, or symphony at the Hanoi (Ha Noi) Opera House
- Eat a bowl of noodles at any of the ‘dust cafes’. It only costs a $1
Best Noodles I had in Hanoi- outside of Train station
- Visit Hoi An for some fine tailored clothing and beach relaxation
- Take a junk trip around Ha Long Bay- UNESCO site

- Drink cocktails on top of the Rex Hotel in Saigon (Sai Gon) (It’s where the US Army did their daily briefing on the war)
- Spend time at the War Remnants Museum in Saigon (Sai Gon) and see the Vietnam War through their eyes
Those are some bombs!
- Crawl in Chu Chi Tunnels-actual tunnels the Viet Cong used
- Experience Sapa (Sa Pa) in the North for its markets and people
- Cherish the red sand dunes in Mui Ne
Young con artist in Mui Ne- watch your wallets!
- Rent a scooter @ $5 a day- preferably at the beach
